CC Sibling Information 兄弟姐妹信息
CAPI:
CC section is regarding sibling information of [Name of the family respondent] and
[Name of spouse of the family respondent] (If still alive). The family respondent and
his/her spouse should answer questions regarding their own siblings. Answers to ques-
tions in this part will be saved under [Name of the family respondent]’s ID CC 部分询
[家庭受访者姓名] 以及 [家庭受访者的配偶姓名]（如果其健在）的兄弟姐妹信息。原则上 [家庭
受访者姓名] 和 [家庭受访者的配偶姓名] 各自回答自己的兄弟姐妹部分，CC 部分的信息记录在

Codes for sibling of [Name of the family respondent] will follow rules as they are
preloaded in CAPI. Any newly mentioned siblings will be coded after the preloaded ones.
If the respondent is added to the survey for the first time, the codes for siblings will start

The following intermediate variables (series) will be generated, with the codes for sib-

– XSibGender drop-down list provided, with 1 denoting male and 2 denoting female,

ferent father and different mother, 5 denoting “not siblings of [Name of the family
